Minor B
The Minor B division is for players who are League Age of 6 to 8, 9 year old first time players may participate in this division if requested. The field uses a 60-foot diamond and a 11" softball.
This division is a mix of coach pitch and tee hitting, and focuses on building the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, catching and fielding. No scores or standings are kept at this division as the focus is about having fun and learning the fundamentals of softball.
First time 8 year old players are recommended to play in this division.
Minor A
The Minor A division is for players who are League Age 8 to 10. The field uses a 60-foot diamond and a 35 foot pitching distance and a 11" softball.
This division is a mix of player and coach pitch and continues to build upon the fundamentals. Although this division does keep score and standings they are solely used for seeding the end of season Metro Tournament (Spring Only).
It is recommended that 8 year old players have at least one year experience in Minor B before moving to this division.
First time or less experienced 11 year old players may participate in this division with approval from the league. 11 year old players are ineligible to pitch at this division.
Majors
The Little League Softball division (sometimes known as the Major Division) is for players league ages 10-12. The field uses a 60-foot diamond and a 40 foot pitching distance and a 12" softball.
This is a player pitch only division that continues to build upon the fundamentals but introduces situational game play.
It is recommended that a 10 year old player have at least two seasons of Minor A before moving to the Majors division.
Juniors
The Junior League Softball division is a program for players league ages 12-14, and uses a conventional 60-foot diamond with a 43 foot pitching distance and a 12" softball.12 year old players in this division may dual roster with the Majors division, if your player is interested in this they would contact the league after registering.
It is recommended that a 12 year old player have at least two seasons of Majors before moving to the Juniors division.
