League Information

Kaneland Youth Softball Little League (KYSLL) is a volunteer youth program that provides  quality softball programs to girls between the ages of 4 and 16. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and enriching environment that helps build confidence by teaching fundamentals, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

We are a Little League Softball® affiliated program and are part of Illinois District 13. KYSLL serves all communities in the Kaneland School District including Elburn, Kaneville, Maple Park, Sugar Grove and parts of Montgomery and North Aurora.

We believe and support the Little League® mission believing in the power of youth softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. We strive to invest in our players and coaches by offering various player clinics as well as coach training.

As part of District 13 we are able to offer the girls a chance to play against a variety of teams in our area and give the opportunity to participate in various area tournaments. Our programs are non-tryout, this means all players who register are placed on a team.

Little League Softball® was established in 1974 and today 360,000 athletes participate on more than 24,000 softball teams in over 20 countries. Softball initially began with only two divisions, Little League® and Big League, but now offers programs for girls ages 4 through 18. Every year, local Little Leagues enroll players within their boundaries to create teams and play a regular season against neighboring communities. In June, leagues have the opportunity to select and enter all-star teams to compete in the Little League International Tournament.
