Umpires Needed

Kaneland Youth Softball is looking for a few young adults ( Age 15 and up) who would be interested in joining the Kaneland Youth Softball umpire team. No experience is needed, just an understanding of baseball/softball and a willingness to learn.

Games take place at the Elburn Community Center or at the Maple Park Community Center.
The Fall season runs August 29th through October 17th, in which games occur on Saturdays and Sundays.
Most games are on Saturday and start at 9AM, 11AM or 1PM.
Sunday games start at 1pm.
Each game runs approximately 2 hours.
Umpires are paid $40 for each game they umpire.
All equipment is provided (face mask, chest protector, leg protectors).
Training can be provided.

KYSLL is assembling a pool of umpires in order to allow flexibility for scheduling.
