Season Plan

Over the past few months we have been communicating with the other leagues in our district, our district president and with Little League International for guidance and direction during this pandemic.

Little League International has officially cancelled the Little League World Series and regional tournaments. They have not however cancelled local league play as they are leaving it up to each district to make the decision based on their own state and local guidelines on when they can resume play.

Our District has decided to move forward with having a single season this year. In the past we have had a Spring/Summer and Fall Ball season, this year we will ONLY be having one season, the timeline and details are outlined below.

In order to play games our region must be in Phase 4 of the Ilinois’s Reopening Plan. The following plan is based on the assumption that our region will move to Phase 4 by the end of July. Additionally we are also awaiting the state guidelines for youth sports for Phase 4 for Illinois.

IMPORTANT: Please review ALL the information below, if you feel your player cannot participate due to the timeline or any other reason please let use know by June 19th as you have the option of receiving a refund or rolling your registration fees over to next season.

The current plan is to start practicing later this month with games beginning the first week of August. The season will run through the end of September with a possible tournament  available depending on

We are currently in the process of creating KYSLL specific guidance on play resumption which will be published by June 19th. Once Illinois releases its Phase 4 guidelines we will incorporate those as well.

All refunds will be issued by check and mailed to the address on the primary account you used when you registered your player. The refund process is a manual process and we ask that you allow time for us to process your refund request.
